Steve Swartz freely admits he doesn’t have the time or the manpower to tackle payroll. As the owner of New Age Fastening Systems, a South Jersey full-service Stud Welding, Protective Coatings, and Concrete Restoration Company that counts among its clients power companies, pulp mills and waste energy plants, Steve prefers to focus on the task at hand. “We perform a highly specialized welding function and we’re an industry leader in the application and technology of Pin studs in cyclone boilers.”
New Age Fastening Systems currently has 25 employees but could have up to 75 people on the roster depending on the workload. Likewise, payroll can range from $20,000 to $120,000 a week. This spring, Steve also started a new division that specializes in concrete restoration.
